Reliance halts Russian oil imports for its only-for-export refinery amid US pressure

Reliance Industries has ceased importing Russian oil for its export-only refinery from November 20. Exports from this facility will exclusively use non-Russian oil starting December 1. This move aligns with Government of India guidelines. Reliance, a major buyer of Russian crude, is recalibrating its imports. The company operates the world’s largest refining complex in Jamnagar.
